Why pH 4.5–6.0 Matters More Than Any Certification on Your Wall

Feminine care isn't like baby diapers. The vaginal mucosa has a specific pH range — pH 4.5–6.0. Get the topsheet chemistry wrong and you're not just dealing with comfort complaints; you're looking at irritation claims, dermatological reactions, and market withdrawal. Our QC tests every batch's surface pH, not annually — every batch. Here's how the full QC chain works.

Feminine care raw material QC lab — ISO 17190-6 absorbency testing
QC technicians in full protective gear — absorption and rewet testing for sanitary pads
Glass-enclosed feminine hygiene production line — contamination-prevention cleanroom
Stage 1: Raw Material IQCSAP retention tested per ISO 17190-6 under 0.7 kPa load. Topsheet pH verified 4.5–6.0. Every PE film batch checked for porosity and waterproof integrity.
Stage 2: In-Line IPQC (Every 30 min)X-ray scanning confirms SAP distribution uniformity. Core weight within ±3%. Seal integrity on individual wraps. Adhesive pattern checked for wing and backsheet positioning.
Stage 3: AQL SamplingAQL 1.5 for critical defects (leakage, missing adhesive, contamination). AQL 2.5 for major defects. Absorption capacity verified per size spec with menstrual fluid simulant.
Stage 4: Pre-Shipment FRIANSI/ASQ Z1.4 sampling plan. ISTA 1A carton drop test. Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek) welcomed — audit at our expense for orders above 5 containers.

Why This Factory? The Decision Framework

Most buyers evaluating OEM feminine hygiene manufacturers focus on price. Then they discover the real costs: rework from pH failures. Container returns from AQL misses. Missed shelf deadlines because a 10-line factory couldn't scale.

We've been in this building since 1994. 200,000 m². 68 production lines — including 12 dedicated to feminine care. 580 employees, 30+ in R&D. And the compliance stack: ISO 13485 (medical device QMS), CE MDR Class I, FDA registered, BSCI social compliance (amfori platform).

That's the difference between a contract manufacturer and a partner who's already certified for the markets you're targeting.

Questions Buyers Ask Before Signing

Sanitary napkin size and variant options?

Two platforms: No.23 Comfort (mid-convex core, sizes 155–420mm) for moderate-to-heavy flow, and No.24 Ultra Thin (Japan Sumitomo SAP, sizes 155–420mm) for slim-profile everyday protection. Both customizable wing shape, topsheet type, and fragrance.

Do you offer tampons? What absorbency options?

Yes — No.27 Applicator and No.28 Digital tampons. Individually wrapped, unscented, totally chlorine free (TCF). Three absorbency grades: Regular (6–9g), Super (9–12g), Super Plus (12–15g). Applicator material (cardboard/plastic) and wrapper color customizable.

What makes Japan Sumitomo SAP different from other SAPs?

Japan Sumitomo SAP offers higher absorption capacity (45–50 g/g) under load and significantly lower rewet (≤0.05g) compared to standard Chinese SAPs. It is the industry benchmark for feminine care premium products. Our No.24 Ultra Thin sanitary napkins and No.25–26 menstrual pants both use Sumitomo SAP as standard.

Are your tampons and pads totally chlorine free?

Yes. Tampons (No.27–28) are TCF — totally chlorine free. Pulp bleaching uses elemental chlorine-free (ECF) process for sanitary napkins, and TCF process for tampons. Organic cotton and bamboo fiber topsheets also available with full traceability documentation.

Can I mix sanitary napkins, menstrual pants, and tampons in one order?

Absolutely. Combined orders across product lines are common. MOQ applies per SKU (100K pads, 100K pants, 500K tampons). We can consolidate shipping for mixed containers to reduce your logistics costs. Ask about our brand launch bundle — 3 SKUs, mixed container, one customs package.

Free samples before ordering? Can I test specific variants?

Yes — free evaluation samples of our existing platforms (No.23–28) shipped within 3 business days. Custom-developed samples with your specific spec (fragrance, core weight, topsheet) require a small sample fee credited to your first production order. DHL/FedEx 3–7 days.

OEM vs ODM — which model for a new brand?

OEM: you spec every parameter from our platform menu — core density, topsheet type, absorbency, fragrance, packaging. ODM: we propose a fully configured product (e.g., No.24 Ultra Thin + your brand) — ideal for first-time brand owners launching fast. Both include full regulatory documentation (CE/FDA/BSCI).

What certifications cover the feminine care production line?

ISO 13485:2016 (medical device QMS, NQA certified), CE MDR Class I, FDA registered, BSCI amfori social compliance, ISO 9001:2015. 12 dedicated feminine care lines in a 200,000 m² single-site facility. GOTS-certified organic cotton topsheet supply chain available.
