A China diaper export factory handles production, packing and container loading — but whether your shipment arrives saleable depends on what you verify before the seal. This pre-shipment buyer checklist covers QC sampling, the documents you need, and how loading actually affects quality.
Most buyers worry about the factory and forget about the container. That's backwards. By the time a China diaper export factory is loading your cartons, the product is already made — the only things left to get wrong are inspection, paperwork and how the load is packed. Get those right and a 20-foot container of baby diapers lands in your warehouse exactly as sampled. Get them wrong and you're arguing about a chargeback from the other side of the world.

What a pre-shipment inspection actually checks
A proper pre-shipment inspection (PSI) is not a glance at a carton. On a real export line it means AQL sampling — pulling a statistical number of packs from the batch and checking weight, SAP grammage, rewet, leakage and the print/pattern. We run an in-house lab and batch-track every run, but for export you should still bring a third-party factory checklist so an independent inspector confirms before the container seals.
The point of AQL is not to catch every unit — it's to confirm the batch matches the approved sample. If your SAP core spec says 8 g of SAP per diaper and the sampled units hold 6.5 g, that's a fail you want to know about in the factory, not at your dock.
Documents a China diaper export factory should hand you
- Commercial Invoice & Packing List — carton count, gross/net weight, SKU breakdown
- Bill of Lading — proof of shipment; matches the container number
- Certificate of Origin — needed for preferential duty in many markets
- Lab test report — leakage, pH, fluorescence, heavy metals
- HS code confirmation — diaper HS codes vary; get it wrong and customs holds the box
If you're new to this, our China OEM sourcing guide walks through the document set end to end. Export documentation is boring until a shipment sits in a bonded warehouse for two weeks because a field was blank.
Container loading is where quality quietly dies
Diapers are sensitive to moisture. A China diaper export factory that loads a container in humid conditions without desiccant, or stacks cartons against a sweaty container wall, can ship perfect product that arrives clammy. We palletize, slip a container desiccant in, and supervise loading so cartons don't crush. It sounds minor; it's the difference between "sold" and "returned."

Certifications behind the export
For the EU and parts of Asia, the film and topsheet should carry OEKO-TEX Standard 100; the factory behind it sits under ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 and CE/FDA depending on market. Ask for the valid certificates, not screenshots.
How we work (editorial transparency)
We're a China diaper export factory that has shipped to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and beyond since 1994 — see our story. We'd rather you find a problem at our dock than yours, so we share the lab report and a loading video before we seal. Below are the questions buyers ask us most.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a third-party inspection if the factory has a lab?
Helpful but not mandatory. An in-house lab catches batch issues; a third-party PSI confirms the shipped batch matches the sample. For first orders, we recommend both.
What documents do I absolutely need for customs?
Commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading and a correct HS code at minimum. A certificate of origin saves duty in many markets.
How do I stop moisture damage in transit?
Palletize, add container desiccant, keep cartons off the walls, and load in low-humidity conditions. Supervised loading matters more than people expect.
Can the factory handle my market's labeling rules?
Yes — we print regulatory text, barcodes and bilingual labels to the destination market's requirements as part of the order.
